Easily Cool High Density Racks

Each vertical vane has an angle of deflection at the top to direct the airflow towards the server rack to achieve a 93% Capture Index rate, compared to typical airflow panels which only deliver 30-50% directly to the rack. Ideal for single panel width cold aisles

DirectAire® X2’s airflow management panels ability to deliver high volumes of air directly and evenly across the face of two server racks gives it the capacity to cool very high density equipment in a range of facility designs. DirectAire X2 is specifically designed for use in cold aisles that are only one airflow panel wide. The panel’s angular throw evenly distributes the majority of the air it delivers directly to the face of two opposite facing racks providing virtual containment when used in conjunction with other airflow management best practices.

Same cooling capacity as a typical grate

DirectPerf 32% airflow management panels angle the airflow toward the server rack to significantly improve energy efficiency and reduce bypass air. DirectPerf 32% provides nearly the same cooling capacity as a standard 56% open area grate using about half the airflow. The panel is designed with a unique combination of directional and vertical perforations which provides evenly distributed air flow across the entire face of a typical IT rack. Tate’s DirectPerf maximizes energy efficiency and the overall capacity of any new or existing data center by nearly eliminating bypass air. The precise delivery of air to the face of the rack reduces by-pass air allowing new facilities to in-turn reduce the number of CRAH units. This means 93% of the airflow delivered through the airflow panel is entering the face of the server rack, providing more capacity and energy efficiency than any other perforated airflow panel on the market with a 25% open area. Standard perf panels only achieve 30%-50% Capture Index, allowing the Directional Perf to double a traditional perf’s cooling capacity using the same amount of air.

Ideal for use with aisle containment systems

Tate’s Perforated steel panels are compatible with any 24” or 60 cm bolted stringer systems. All panels are available with top surface adjustable damper to control airflow volume. The damper can be adjusted from the top and locked into place to avoid tampering. Tate’s perforated panel delivers airflow in a vertical plume and is a cost effective airflow panel for use in contained aisles. Steel perforated panels are available with High Pressure Laminate, vinyl and rubber floor coverings. The perforated panels are interchangeable with laminated ConCore, All Steel and Woodcore panels in a stringered system.
